I love beer and bagpipes! I live in China (currently), on the search for adventure.

Hasher sarong

A new addition to the line-up this year has been my sarong. I’ve done a number of custom orders: for Craft Head, and for the Pirates rugby team, but I also came out with a red one that has the hash foot spread throughout and “ON-ON” written repeatedly as the border. Was rather popular at the All-China-Nash-Hash. Lots of hashers wearing them in the most different ways.

Brewery patches and sarong!

Last month, I had the opportunity to not only attend Brews on the Beach, a great beer festival on the beach, but I also had the opportunity to help out the brewery that organized the event, Craft Head. I don’t mean helping out by just “helping drink beer” but also by producing some patches and a sarong for them.

The 3 patches came out great. I made sure to wear one on a shirt for the event. Still need to get my hands on the other to put on a shirt…. I think I even have the right shirt in mind…. (hint: it already has Big Lebowski patches on it….)

The Sarongs came out awesome! The designer, Sean, did a great job. Will need to make my way back to the bar to get one of those as well. I’m not sure how I will include it when I am wearing my overalls, but I will find a way.

The beer fest itself was just awesome! An open area literally right next to the sand of a beach. Lots of great breweries were in attendance, including some favorites like Jing-A, Paper Planes, etc. It was a buy-a-ticket for all you can drink per session. We did the last 2 sessions on Saturday, and then hung out with the crowd on Sunday before catching the bus ride home.

Pirates’ (rugby) sarongs! and more

Sarongs and socks and a bucket hat, oh my!! – Its been fun doing the sarongs, or as the team full of New Zealand guys likes to call them: lava-lavas. We took the gold from the Pirate’s shield logo, and used it for the background color of the sarong. The the team said they wanted the shield logo as 2 layers on the bottom half. It is a little different from my hasher sarong, but that’s their preference.

Additionally, the team needed some bucket hats with the logo, and some socks with their logo as well. Originally the bucket hats were to be black, but after having a sample tried out in the sun a few days, it was decided a khaki would be a bit cooler.

Pirates (rugby) socks

Recently, I have been working with a local rugby team, the Pirates, and they are getting some custom socks to go with their uniform. Although most of the uniform is black and grey, they decided to split their sock order into yellow and white. Here are some pics of the yellow pair of sample socks made up for approval.
FYI- as a sample, the factory didn’t bother finishing the toe.

Patches for the Dude

In honor of the most recent Big Lebowski Anniversary, we screened the movie at a local favorite bar, Craft Head, and just for some fun, I made up some patches of the Dude and Walter. They were rather popular among all the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers that made it out.
– The Walter patch uses white glow-in-the-dark thread for added pizzazz.

A couple of bar owners for another local favorite, Keg Room, went ahead and put the patches on their apron (pic 3). Looks sweet to me!

Although patches are not a huge thing among the local residents, maybe they could be? Maybe if more were made available, and more folk put them on their bags, or on a jacket (not likely in the hot weather), or maybe put them on on over-sized baseball jerseys like I am starting to do (pic 2). Need to start making more patches, and getting more brewery patches to really fill it out.

Products up on Shopify

It has taken me a good long while, but I have finally transferred all my items out of the Amazon warehouses and moved them to where I can offer them for sale again.

I am now able to sell my products on Shopify, at the following address:
https://uncle-wigi-hab.myshopify.com/

Although I don’t seem to have as many products available, I do have some micro-fiber towels on offer. They are very useful, and have been quite popular.

Amazon blocked me…

Technically, Amazon has deactivated my account, but that means that I can not do anything – so selling single items is pretty much impossible right now. I am working on a fix, but everything will take time. Thus, the catalog and shopping basket have been disabled on this site.

In the meantime, I am still getting custom stuff done, and happy to help anyone looking to do more.

Cheers, and ON-ON!

If interested, Amazon says the reason they blocked me is because I am associated with another account that is not allowed to sell on Amazon. I do not know what they are referring to, and they refuse to help or give me any further information.
– I do find it odd that I was blocked right before they admitted they lost some off my stuff, and had to reimburse me. Funny timing…
